Highgate’s Website serves the dual purposes of informing our members (along with e-mail, Facebook, Twitter and our Highgate Highlights Newsletter) as well as being a repository of our Sub-Branch history along with the history of those Sub-Branches (West Perth, Public Service and Press) that have been merged into today’s Highgate Sub-Branch. Highgate would appreciate any information that you may hold about any of these Sub-Branches that we could add to improve our record.
The RSL WA Branch tasks of Deputy and Sub-Wardens for the State War Memorial and the (Kings Park) Honours Avenue Group are also discharged through the Highgate Sub-Branch.
Highgate’s Website also serves as the repository of two military remembrance projects that were created for the Centenary of the Armistice in 2018. The first is a Kings Park Memorials Walk App that shows suggested walks between memorials and provides a description of each memorial. The second lists names shown on each memorial for many WA War Memorials.
