THOMAS Edward Lindsay (Ted)
RAN Born Perth WA 27 May 1917 Died 14 July 2009
Service No: FV10. Highgate Sub-Branch Treasurer 1990. Joined the Royal Navy as Ordinary Seaman under the Yachtsmen Scheme in 1940. Served in the North Sea, Mediterranean, Atlantic, Indian Oceans transferred to the Royal Australian Navy 1943. Commissioned 1941 served in South West Pacific until end of war. A few months before mobilisation as Provost Marshal Perth. Survived the sinking of Cruiser Fiji near Crete 1941.
