Joined RAF as an apprentice at Halton UK. Graduated Flight Sergeant 1951. 1954 RAF Pilot Officer. No 50 Squadron at Binbrook Meteor 7 & 8s then Canberras. 1956 RAAF WA at Pearce 76 Squadron RAF Britain’s Nuclear Task Force 308. Track Tests Mosaic, Buffalo, Grapple, Antler. 1958 Awarded the Air Force Cross (AFC). 1963 Promoted to Squadron Leader. Last Posting SO ADM Joint Services Persian Gulf Bahrain. 1970 retired
