Cable cutting off Saigon. Awarded American Bronze Star 1945.  Author Corvette and Submarine 1992. 10 yrs RANR. Retired Lieutenant Commander. Awarded the Companion of the Distinguished Service Order (Imperial) (DSO) – HM Submarine X24 in attack on floating dock near Bergen: 13 June 1944. Father of Ruth Shean.
