Service No: Commissioned Officer.  HMAS Australian Britain 1934. HMAS Sydney on Commissioning 1935 until 1941. 1936 inspected Gallipoli Battlefield, Malta Alexandria, Gibraltar. Served on HMAS Sydney until days before her loss, then HMAS Canberra until her sinking in the Solomons Campaign 1942. Post War at Darwin and Manus Islands. Resigned from RAN in 1951. President 40 yrs of Ex-Sydney Association WA. Author of Stormy Petrel, (Sydney) and Lucky Ross.
