Merchant Navy 1939-45. North Africa, Algiers. During Operation Torch, onboard the Awatea (one of the 19 ships sunk by aerial bombardment. Post-war continued as a Marine Engineer RAN Reserve. Ex-Chair WA Council for the Aged, Board Member Perth Zoological Gardens and Western Australian Guides.
