1932 Royal Engineers, 1942 Singapore PoW. Foreman First Chapel inside Changi. 1946 Commissioned. Returned 1947 as Garrison Engineer Singapore. Later served in Britain Malaya, Germany, Tripolitania the War Office and retired 1969 as Lieutenant Colonel. Arrived in Perth 1978 and did some consultancy work on the Central Art Gallery and Fremantle Hospital
