NICHOLAS Reginald Alfred MBE

Australian Army Born Bristol England 14 November 1896 Died 9 September 1990

Regimental No (WWI) 938. Service No (WWII): W37534. WWI service Medical Corps at Gallipoli and subsequently became State President of the Gallipoli Legion of Anzacs. World War II saw him in service again, this time in the Intelligence Service and then with the Volunteer Defence Corps.  He has been a long-standing member of the RSL, having become a member immediately after his discharge in 1916 and subsequently becoming a member of the State Executive of the League from 1935 to 1942. He also at one stage was Warden of the State War Memorial .  Valued Public Servant, particularly in the field of lithography and the mapping of Western Australia. Awarded the Order of the British Empire – Member (Civil) (Imperial) (MBE) – Ex-servicemen: 1 January 1969
