Served in Falklands War, Northern Ireland.  2^nd Battalion the Parachute Regiment 5^th January 1981 – 13^th March 1987.  B Company – 6th Platoon – Rifleman 1981 – 1982.  B Company – 6th Platoon – Section Gunner 1982 – 1983.  C Company – Patrols and Recce Platoon – Sniper Section 1983 – 1987.  Denmark – USSR European invasion drills/training – 1981.  Kenya – Desert and Jungle training – 1981.  Operation Corporate – Falkland Islands War with Argentina – 1982 actions in: Darwin, Goose Green and Wireless Ridge.  Belize – 6 months tour for Guatemalan border security – 1983.  USA – Exercise Trumpet Dance – Completed the Airborne Ranger course with the 2^nd 75^th Ranger Battalion – 1984.  Northern Ireland – 6 months tour of duty with COP – Close Observation Platoon – 1984 – 1985.  Consultant in Public Health and Fire Protection Engineering.  Jeff currently serves as Vice President and Secretary of the Airborne Forces Association (WA). Transferred to Highgate Sub-Branch April 2019.
