Enlisted in ARA and posted to 4 Field Regiment RAA Qld; 1972 was posted to 3 Field Regiment RAA; 1971 Commissioned at OCTU; transferred to 7 Field Regiment RAA NSW; 1979 until 1984 when he was posted Battery Commander of 7 Field Regiment RAA; In 1987 RCSC as an instructor; 1989 Retired from the ARA.
