Represented the Navy in Interservice Sporting Competitions for Football and Boxing. Chairman Lions Eye Institute of WA since 1983. Retired Manager, General Insurance. Father served in France WWI – 48th Infantry Battalion awarded Military Medal. Awarded The Order of the British Empire – Member (Civil) (Imperial) (MBE) – For service to the Lions Club: 13 June 1981
