Pre-war 10th Light Horse. 1942 Royal Australian Air Force, Seconded to RAF Bomber Command Lancasters. 2 Jan 1944 shot down over Berlin while serving with No. 57 Squadron RAF. Prisoner of War Stalag Luft III at Sagan. Released by the Russians, escaped. Rescued by an American Unit and flown to England
