Escaped for a few weeks; 28 days imprisonment. Altensgrubo Stalag XI A returned to IV B. Russian Cavalry 1 May 1945, Escaped again followed the Mongolian (Russian) Army across the Elbe to the Americans at Halle Airport 12 May.
