Highgate Sub-Branch President 2013-15. 4 years School Cadets. Enlisted in 3 Field Regiment RAA in 1959 – commissioned as a Lieutenant in 1964. Regimental appointments included Regt Signals Officer, GPO, FO including 2 years attached to 28 Battalion, Recruiting Officer and BK. 1978 posted to 5 Trg Gp as an instructor and SO2. Appointed to RCSC as SO Validation. 1984 whilst on exchange attached to the Canadian Militia to serve with 30 Field Regiment Royal Canadian Artillery. In 1985 returned to RCSC as SO2 Validation. Promoted to Lieutenant Colonel Senior Instructor Military Studies RCSC till retirement in 1991. DRA Life Member. Member of Probus, Honorary Life Member of WA Primary Principals’ Association. Highgate Golden Oldie. Husband of Judy Farrell.
