Awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross (Imperial) (DFC) – 467 Squadron RAAF: 27 June 1944 Awarded The Order of the British Empire – Member (Civil) (Imperial) (MBE) – In recognition of service to the Public: 31 December 1981. Author of Trenches in the Sky (1995).
