Service No: 409368. Joined Highgate September 1990. Mervyn served with the RAAF (No 456 Squadron RAAF operating Mosquito aircraft) in England in World War II. A Rhodes Scholar and noted cricketer, he was, until he retired, Professor of Classics and Ancient History at the University of WA.
